The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime has invited, Dr. Mohammad Farajiha, TMU academic, to attend the meeting of the professional specialist's group for “Restorative Justice”, which will be held June 27-29 in Bangkok.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), in pursuance of the fulfillment of the UN Economic and Social Council Resolution, entitled "Basic Principles on the application Restorative Justice in criminal matters approved in 2002," will held the meeting of the professional group for justice reconciliation (reviewed in the United Nations Manual In the context of restorative justice programs).

This special meeting will be attended by the participation of 20 lawyers, criminologists, criminal justice experts and restorative justice scholars from the United States, Canada, the United States, Brazil, Chile, the Netherlands, Ireland, Nigeria, South Africa and Iran from June 17 to 19, Bangkok, Thailand.
